The Nactelligence Team
NacTelligence Unified Communications is a modern day offshoot of a company with a 40-year heritage in the voice communications marketplace, North Atlantic Communications. Over that time we delivered thousands of telephone systems, consulting, designing, installing and maintaining enterprise systems, specializing in call centers and multi-location networked deployments or distributed companies.
The company was incorporated as North Atlantic Communications in the state of New York in 1982. Partners John McFadyen and Jamie Buswell have been in the industry since the 70s.
Jamie A. Buswell entered the industry in 1973 working with National Communication Systems, in Cos Cob, Connecticut. He advanced his career working for Unitel Communications Systems, in Hauppauge, New York as Service Supervisor, and then Eagle Telecommunications Systems (Black Box), in Plainview, New York as Operations Manager. Jamie has a background in Digital Computer Technology, graduating from Sylvania Tech. He holds certifications from a large number of leading telecommunications manufacturers from legacy PBX crossbar technology to the current VoIP standard.
John McFadyen started has career in 1977 with Dial Communications that became Eagle Telephonics Inc. a global manufacturer of leading edge technology in the telecommunications industry. He served as the Director of Technical Support and Director of Training. John has over 40 years’ experience and is widely regarded as a world-renowned expert in the telecommunications industry.
John has taught telecommunications around the world, including China in 1989 & 1992, Poland in 1990, and at UCLA in California. He has performed training in hundreds of locations throughout the United States for six out of the seven Regional Bell Operating companies (RBOC). John has also installed systems in some of the most prestigious locations in the country, such as The Pentagon in 1985, Cheyenne Mountain Denver Colorado in 1986, Disney World for Vista United, and 800+ stations in the N.E.O.B of the White House in 1983-1984. John has a degree in Advanced Digital Computer Technology, graduating from Sylvania Tech, as well as certifications on many cloud and premise telecommunications systems.
John founded North Shore Telecommunications Inc. in 1992. He maintained a Platinum Partner relationship with Samsung Telecommunications for over 25 years, implemented thousands of lines for Samsung on behalf of hundreds of the finest clients throughout the New York tristate region as well as across the United States.
In 2018 North Shore Telecommunications Inc. purchased the majority share of North Atlantic Communications Corp. Jamie and John have known each other and work together for over 40 years, culminating in a partnership that has resulted in the finest provider of telecommunications in the tristate area.
